Losing Trees all over!

#1 Postby seaswing » Sun Sep 05, 2004 4:44 pm

I am just 30 mi. NW of Gainesville and I believe some of the squall bands are now affecting us. I still have power for now and I charged my laptopmy laptop just in case. I suspect the winds have been gusting to near 70 here and I hear transformers snapping all over. I know its a matter of time before my power goes out. I have no cable so I am not up to date as to where the storm is headed right now or where it is but I think it is near...... I am about 60 mi. NE of Cedar Key..... This is not fun. I am watching my huge hickory tree top breaking off, hopefully it wont be on my house! no fun here...no fun at all!
