MSNBC's "Countdown"

I think the MSNBC Segment shouldn't do the show because countdowns
don't deal with the news IMO.

The MSNBC Show "Countdown" talks about which things happened
first to last. I think. :? I'm guessing it goes which story made from
the top 5 list.

Well i saw fox news using soldiers to plug their own station. It went like this. "i'm ___ ___, and i would like to say hi to my family and friends down in NC. And remember stick with fox news ::thumbs up::" or some corny slogan like that. thats kinda sad that they use soldiers to fill their ad spots

as for the countdown never heard of it.

I heard of "Countdown: Iraq with Lester Holt" which aired from 7:00 PM ET to 8:00 PM ET and then from 7:00 PM ET to 9:00 PM ET once "Donahue" was cancelled, prior to the start of the war. "Hardball with Chris Matthews" has been on from 6:30 PM ET to 8:00 PM ET for as far as I know, since the war began... (well the next evening)... Thursday, March 20th.

JQ, those same soldiers/Marines have FoxNews "embedded" reporters with them, and all the news they are getting from home IS from the FoxNews "small screens" WITH those reporters (even the C.O.'s of those troops are asking the correspondents about what's happening elsewhere)...so, why complain about the "plugs"?

The soldiers are saying hello to their family [and friends]; not really promoting the Fox News Channel.

no that part is fine...just the plug at the end was kind of uncalled for.

We already know we are watching Fox News, so it still shouldn't be an issue. JQ, I do understand what you mean.

What are "they" counting down to, now? As I mentioned they used to have a hour long show from 7:00 PM ET to 8:00 PM ET called, "Countdown: Iraq with Lester Holt."
