Looking better today. I wonder if we'll see a warming eye later.

Ivan is heading directly for the tiny island of Grenada. I have been there a couple of times on cruises...the people are VERY poor there with many living in shacks. Very worrisome! They rarely are affected by hurricanes with their very southern location. It is going to be a shock.

Eye appears to be popping out better now. Let's see if it lasts.

Looks like the most significant Hurricane to affect that area of the southern Winwards since Flora in 1963.

Let's hope it takes the same track as Flora also!

Looks a lot better this morning. Our power just came back after being off 2 hours from Frances(a tree fell on a line in the neighborhood). I'll probably be here another hour and then I have to go to the dentist. :( The center is about 35 miles SSE of me.
