I am getting tired of them! I think SE Fla is going to be fine...Can I risk taking them down?

We all are. But I'd wait another couple of days until we have a better handle on where Ivan is going to go. Don't want to take them down just to have to turn around and put them back up again. Personally, I can live with the shutters another couple of days but what I would really like is ... electricity!!! I heard it might be another five days!

I think the the Florida peninsula may be spared this time around-but not the Northern Gulf Coast.
We have been extremely lucky so far this year!
