The gulfstream jet data tonight will be crucial

Right now the jet is flying thru the perifery of the hurricane collecting data from way up around 45,000 feet to see what upper pattern is shaping up and then the global models will factor in at the 00z runs in a few hours and we will see if they change from todays runs or stay the same.

Im thinking we will see a change. Ivan doesn't seem to have any great desire to move much northward at this time.
