Why don't we worry about Jamaica, Cuba, the Caymans and Florida first?

I do think we should be worried for everyone in IVANS path and also the ones he has affected or will.

We all want the best information we can have.
Being a human being I of course care about Jamaica, Cuba and the Caymanites.
However Florida is my home and Ivan's path over Florida is a primary concern to me.
So many on this board and others have predicted that Jamaica will be desimated by Ivan.

I say, that there will be major damage but being in the center of Hurricane alley, they know they will get hit at least once per season and they are prepared for it. It's those of us who never get hit and now are getting pounded that are a bit worried.

Look, Ivan is one bad hurricane. I feel for everyone in it's path. However I also understand each of us being concerned for our own little corner of the world It's human nature.
