Interesting wave graphic for Ivan... i'm confused...

The little loop shows the movement of Ivan... you can easily pinpoint his center based on the center of the highest waves, HOWEVER... the center of the highest waves ended up going straight over jamaica... but we know his eye never did that?

I am confused... anyone have an answer?

Looks like this was a forecast, that obviously never verified. I don't know.

Perhaps because Ivan has been heading basically west, and the largest waves would occur in the storm's northwest quad, which, since Ivan is running south along the Jamaican coast, would mean the largest waves would be north? I dunno, just a guess. It's also not a very hi-res pic, not sure how accurate that really is.
