No fatality/casualty reports are showing up yet as far as I can see from Jamaica.
That Netscape News article is talking about fatalities caused by Ivan on the way to Jamaica...

Ivan has killed 26 people in Grenada, five in Venezuela, one in Tobago, one in Barbados, and four youngsters in the Dominican Republic.
