Frances created a massive flooding disaster in many parts of the Eastern U.S, including my beloved Ohio
I am growing very concerned for all of Ohio now that mets are indicating that although Ivan may spare Florida, that western track puts Ohio right in its bullseye. I have heard that the storm may stall somewhere over Tennessee, which would spell a disaster for a lot of people. Even the mets here in Dayton and Cincy are frustrated and concerned about a flooding catastrophe.
Any guidance you all can suggest would be great. I am not worried about flooding here in Dayton (we haven't flooded since 1913 after we built our walls), but my friends and family back in Eastern Ohio.
If you hear any information about anticipated rainfall in the Ohio Valley, please post it here or email directly at stanford.4@wright.edu.
I am worried- our hilly terrain and clogged creeks won't take much more rain...this week is going to be horrible for a lot of people.
Stay safe
Jay
