If Ivan goes in on the current track you will get some squalls down there in Houma. Reason is that they have the storm bending close to the mouth of the river and then going NE into Mobile. You will not see hurricane force winds, but surely tropical storm force winds and a decent amount of rain.

current weakening
I just saw that the pressure was down to 930...and winds may be lower...what are the odds that this is only weakening do to eywall replacement. I know there is some dry air too effecting it. There is still that area of high heat content(deep warm water) just south of Mississippi and Louisiana. So I am afraid it will maintain and possibly blow up just before landfall when hits the area. What does shear look like come tomorrow night?
