Ship report from 200+ miles east of Ivan

Ship ID WPPO about 204 miles slightly north of due east of Ivan is reported sustained wind of almost 60 mph one hour ago.

That's strong tropical storm force wind over 200 miles from the cane!

Plus at least 100 hurricane force.I heard a news report that said Ivan's wrath extends of 400 miles.Thats incredible :eek:

Buoy 42003 recently reported 51 mph sustained winds at 132 miles NNE of Ivan <b>with a wave height of 32.8 feet.</b>

The East Gulf buoy is 260 nm south of Panama City.
