This is something I just ran across, and may answer some of my questions...especially why Pfc Jessica Lynch is so upbeat and recovering so quickly.

http://www.timesonline.co.uk/article/0, ... 17,00.html

A friend of Jessica's family told me two days ago that she told her folks the doctor was nice and saved her life (and two nurses were kind, including the wife of the lawyer named Mohammed that walked several miles to alert US forces).

I honestly hope the part is true about her medical care. If she was recieving pain medication, orange juice, and was recieving kind treatment from him/ nurses from 3/27 to 4/01, that makes me feel much better :)

Nice "spin" from the Iraqi side, but it raises more questions than answers, IMHO. :x

BTW, Walter Reed Military Hospital has been so inundated with gifts for PFC Lynch that she has asked for cards and letters instead; and her family said that those who want to "do more" can send contributions to a list of Armed Services-related funds.
