Mayor seems to have accepted that NO isn't going to get a direct hit (at this time)

Noted the strictures against price gouging- curfew at 2pm

Pretty standard. :)

Super dome open to special needs patients that need electricy for live support. No one else but those people and one caregiver.

He jsut told people to make sure they had a second floor or an attic that they could cut out of in case of flooding. Oh dear.

They are not expecting anything bad...they have not decided to open a shelter yet for the general public.

Superdome

Does the Superdome have water tight seals to keep water from entering? Is the field surface below street level? The Toyota Center in downtown Houston has large watertight doors to keep water out of the arena, I think.
