Western bahamas then where?

#1 Postby Vortex » Thu Sep 16, 2004 12:44 pm

One thing almost all models agree on is that jeanne will be in the western bahamas in 3 days. Thereafter, it's either north to the carolinas or west into florida. I would normally favor the carolinas at this time given model consensus, however the ridge has been underforecasted by the models in terms of strength this year therefore I'd say 50/50. So for now I'd expect Jeanne around 60-100 miles off the se florida coast sunday night.

if jeanne gets ripped by hispaniola it may just continue west across cuba as well as a wave or weak td.
