Confusion about Jeanne passing thru Frances wake
Would anyone tell my why people would think that Jeanne would be affected at all by Frances. The cooler water that Frances left would probably be replaced by warm Gulf Stream water by this time...right?

The Gulf Stream doesn't flow through the Bahamas, so in that area there is something of a cooler wake left by Frances. But even that water is plenty warm enough to support a hurricane. Besides, Jeanne looks likely to track a little further south where there's sufficient warm water to support intensification.
