Unfortunately Jeanne is far from dead.
Not many storms make it through what she
has in the last 24-48 hours but I believe she will.

Yes, I agree now. Watch that naked LLC bloom out in convection.

A storm still showing such intense flaring downwind from the shear is one that is signalling a want to refire...

When I saw the eye over land, I thought she might make it. I had doubts this afternoon. I truly hate to say this but she struggled valiantly to survive. Just don't come to Florida. We need time to heal.

What the heck is going on this year? Almost everything seems to develop. Then almost everyone gets strong or refuses to die. And for crying out loud they all want to hit something. When they say we are getting into a busy period they REALLY meant it.
