Nice squall line that developed JUST east of here ... very dark low-rolling clouds, but only a sprinkle of rain ... UNLOADED JUST EAST AND NORTH of the area ... 5 minute downpour dumped 0.40" ...

Pittsburgh is a mess right now. I have relatives there and one has a flooded basement. Certain major roads are closed, icnlduing portions of the PA Turnpike and I-376 (Parkway East). I have a friend who works downtown and can't get home. No bus service. No trolley service. Most roads leading into the North Hills area are closed. It's really bad there, thanks to Ivan. When will he die??

Lots of storms and tornado warnings here (eastern NC) -- we just had a tornado warning within a few miles of us that just expired.
