Bud, regardless of where it is going, and for the time being that is up in the air, do what they say and sorta kinda prepare. Know the evac routes ect..... just in case. Having you been watching TV?? Keep announcing people should NOT come to the beach. Obviously someone is worried.

ssts off carolina coast are in the mid 70's. if jeanne is moving slow at landfall, expect some weakening, dry air or not

SSTs near Wilmington have been between 78-82.
