I know tropical storms also strike north of the DelMarVa area. But for the most part, the SE US and GOM states, as well as the islands in the Caribbean and western Atlantic and Mexico get most of the activity.
Has there every been a year with this much landfall/warning activity in just about every target area south of DelMarVa, including so many of the Caribbean islands? Obviously, some places got warnings, but weren't hit directly. However, many of them were devastated by the winds that extended out from the center and by all the rains because of the size of these storms.
SE US and GOM landfalls/warnings in one year?
