What Were Highest Winds in Melbourne last night?

#1 Postby JoanFlorida » Sun Sep 26, 2004 10:55 pm

Made it through a very noisy and nerve-wracking night. The winds screamed fiercely and seemed to go on forever...

Does anyone know how high the winds were in West Melbourne area? Gusts had to be at least 100 at times...

after all that, suffered no real damage...just lots of outdoor flooding

My brother told my mother that the winds were around 100 mph in Melbourne.

Thanks...90-100 mph...I appreciate your input!

I now have a new definition for "ga-zillion" because I was convinced that was the wind speed that night!
