He will be replaced by Conan.O.Brian but that will occur in 2009.

2009?! Gimme a break. Anything can happen between now and then.

I like Conan better than John Stewart.

Hmmm.... seriously? Do you actually watch the Daily Show? I know a lot of Republicans dont ...but hes actually pretty hard on Kerry as well as Bush. Its become a very successful show - great political guests, anyways. It always makes me laugh :lol: even at my own party - LOL!

Yuck, I hate Connan... I think his show is really boring... I really dont like Jay or David either.. I like Jimmy Kimmell.. Hes a trip...

If Connan becomes the host, I will never watch NBC late night again..

I watched the first Conan O'Brien show years ago and was not impressed. Never watched since then unless someone I really liked was a guest. I'm just not amused by his humor. Jay was okay. Never been a Letterman fan either, but I think part of the problem is that he used to be on so late and I never got to watch. Johnny was best.

Good thing I typically go to bed after the news...or have cable for late nights. :)

I don't think that he's an appropriate choice for the "Tonight Show". He's humor is different. Jay Leno fit like a glove when Johnny Carson left.

By 2009, we'll have so many new cable and satellite channels, we won't miss the Tonight Show. We'll be watching late night re-runs of the 12th season of Third Watch on the "All-Cops, All-EMS Channel," plus Ken Jennings 39475th Jeopardy run on GameShowNetworkGold! :)

These are my opinions about the Late night shows.. as in who I like best

1. Letterman/Leno it's a toss up
2. Conan O Brien
3. Craig Kilborn {If I'm ever up that late.. but I hear they 86'd his show}

I've always intensely disliked Leno. I think he has no talent and less grace. Carson didn't want him to have that job, but he managed to weasel it out of NBC anyway. Letterman probably has too much pride and honor to accept the job now, and besides, who knows if Dave will be around in 2009??

Give the job to Jon Stewart. He's a hottie anyway. 8-)
