THE 5TH MOST ACTIVE ACE SINCE RECORDS BEGAN IN 1851...WITH 1950-
1893-1995-1926 BEING THE TOP 4. ONTO THE CURRENT WEATHER...

Its not over yet
That was the 2nd of two major hurricanes to strike South Carolina that year, the first being the Sea Islands Hurricane in August 1893 which killed 2,000 along the GA/SC coastline ... the two storms hit only 6 weeks apart ...
