2:45 PM EDT Storm2k Atlantic Tropical Update,Oct 4

#1 Postby cycloneye » Mon Oct 04, 2004 1:39 pm

The atlantic basin is relativly quiet today with only a couple of exceptions.First in the Bay of Campeche there is an area of clouds and showers but not organized and is caused by a tropical wave however no development is expected at this time but some of the moistere will move into Texas in the next few days. The second area is located east of the lesser antilles where a tropical wave is interacting with an upper trough but also there are no signs of tropical development as upper conditions are not favorable.

Tropical storm formation is not expected thru tuesday.
