I'm sure someone will worry about it. And I'm sure someone will be thinking about plywood in South Carolina. :)

Doubt it. The only way that would happen is if it stalls down there and waits for a front to kick it ENE. Doubt that will happen...


Pretty good 26mph wind from the east driving in towards the storm here. Makes me think it is at least partly baroclinic...

Certainly the Panhandle and Big Bend are need to be alert.

It looks like a bunch of unorganized convection, which is what it is. I highly doubt it will have much time to do anything before it's picked up and carried into the Southeast, Rain...not much more :wink:

Yes--I wouldnt expect anything to write home about---Cat2 cane tops as GFDL says. Nothing Fla cant handle after this season with Ivan and Charley. Look ouy for the rainy rivers though 8-)

we will probably flood if we get more rain - we just got rid of the moat around our house as it is. hoep it won't bring rain to the east coast!
