Much Cooler New Orleans By End of Week

#1 Postby Sean in New Orleans » Tue Oct 12, 2004 12:29 am

Forecasted highs around 70F for Friday and Saturday with lows from the low 40's on the Northern areas of Lake Pontchartrain to the low to mid 50's in the City. Bring on the cooler temps...I'm ready to open all of the windows and let the breezes blow through the house! :D

Get ready for the mid 40's tomorrow night across most of south Louisiana with the exception of places south of the lake. Might even light a fire for the hell of it!

I'm S of the lake but I'll take any cooler weather I can get. 69º here right now. I love cool, crisp fall weather. I baked cookies last night.

It's here! It's here! Finally some true cool weather! It's 1:30pm and only 66°! I'm waiting to hear the people around here say "Gosh, it's cold! I'm freezing!" :)

Still not to New Orleans. We are seeing a bunch of showers that are just ahead of the front. The front has now passed Baton Rouge with the winds there out of the NW. Get ready for a windy and chilly night across Southeast Louisiana.

Yes the city even dipped into the 40's. COLD COLD COLD but it will only last today and then by tomorrow the warm air is back to stay as a zonal flow takes shape over the U.S.

We dipped down to 46 degrees last night but unfortunately the cold spell is already over. We'll barely make it into the 50's tonight and high temps will be running above 80 for the next week. Bring on December!
