A big non tropical low pressure located wel SW of the Azores islands is slowly adquiring suntropical or tropical caracteristics as it moves thru warm waters.Convection has increased in the past 24 hours and a subtropical cyclone is likely to form in the next 12-24 hours.The storm2k forecast team continues to watch the progress of the low pressure and any new changes during the day will be posted.
Elsewhere in the Atlantic:
Nothing that shows any signs of tropical development.
