Just wanted to share this good news with fellow animal lovers, especially dog owners (I know we have quite a few here). A few months ago I read an in depth expose on dog fighting in Reader's Digest. I could not get thru that article without crying. These poor unfortunate dogs have no life whatsoever. I hope and pray this man's arrest will put a severe dent into this "sport". I think I'll go hug my dog now.

I despise animal baiting of any kind, I find it truly disgusting and barbaric! All people caught doing this should rot in jail.

This is great news Mary!! Criminals like this guy is what has given the PittBull and the Rottweiller a bad rep. I have both and they are big babies and not mean to anybody. One of them is a tiger stripped pitt that is the most often used in dog fights. They just raided two dog fighting rings here on the Gulf Coast about two weeks ago. Unfortunately the dogs were too mean to adopt out and they had to be put to sleep.
