2:30 PM EDT Storm2k Atlantic Tropical Update,Oct 23

#1 Postby cycloneye » Sat Oct 23, 2004 1:34 pm

The only area that has a chance to develop into a subtropical or tropical system is in the atlantic north of Bermuda. The low is deepening and more important it is making the transition into a more warm core tropical system as it is moving into more warm waters and it is being less influenced by cold core features. The storm2k forecast team will continue to watch the low and any changes will be posted.

Elsewhere in the atlantic:

No other features that show signs of tropical development despite that a tropical wave east of the islands has flared up but upper conditions are not favorable.
