I'm scared! :-(

#1 Postby OtherHD » Fri May 02, 2003 12:17 pm

I have AP exams next week (English on Tuesday and Comp Sci on Wednesday). The one I'm really nervous about is Comp Sci...I have no idea what the test will be like and we have had very little preparation for it. I know what to expect for the English exam cause I have practiced it many times. Anyway...

Shannon, JQ, and anyoe else...have y'all taken the Comp Sci exam before? Was it hard? How does the case study work...what kind of things are you expected to do for it? Thanks!

sheesh, and I thought TAKS was going to be a pain... :x  :o

Advanced Placement exams are end of course tests that you take for a college level course while in high school. If you get a 3 or above (out of 5), you receive college credit for the class. It costs $50 to take each test, but it is nothing compared to what you have to pay to take the same course in college...

Only 50 dollars? You are lucky. Here it is 80 dollars. I have English Lit on Monday, European History on Friday and Latin Lit the Friday thereafter. Last year I had 5 AP tests. I don't know how I made it through them all, but at least I didn't have any on the same day.

Make sure you get enough sleep and no alcohol starting now. On the day before the test do some exercise. On the day of the test eat a high carb breakfast, not a heavy protein/fat breakfast.

The best thing to do is anything OTHER than cram, or worry about the testing...clear your mind, go out, have some fun, and get a LONG night's sleep the day before the test.

When you need the information, it will "be there". OK?
