Looks like a huge mass of thunderstorms down there,but its drifting West.

That's what you're looking for, but they say it will drift over Central America (they've been wrong before).

We are near record highs here and warm in south Florida under bright sunshine...

12Z runs of gfs and nogaps continue to dance about the issue of development in the sw carib...nogaps -yes, gfs -no..again day 5-6 timeframe http://www.fnmoc.navy.mil/PUBLIC ....gp to tropical atlantic, ngp, 12z, streamlines/windspeed

I hope that nothing comes about in 5 or 6 days as my parents are arriving in the Caribbean for a cruise on Monday :O Wouldn't want there holiday ruined by something. Already looks like those showers will stick around for a good while yet :/
