Guess He Had Money to Burn

I bet this guy is kicking himself now. A Norwegian man came home after a night of partying and was a little chilled. He wanted to quickly start a fire in his stove so he grabbed a handful of paper and threw it in. It was too late when he realized the paper he casually threw into the stove was a stack of kroners worth about $2,400. "I came home late at night after a party, and wanted a beer before I went to bed," he said. "It was cold in the living room, but there was a glow in the wood stove." He said the cash he burned had been payment for an artwork he had sold earlier in the day. If the money had survived, he could have exchanged some of it at the state Bank of Norway. Sadly, the wood stove was too quick for him.
