The sixth installment of The Amazing Race starts tonight with a 2-hour episode.

Eleven teams of two begin a race around the world, starting from Chicago and then to Iceland. Once there, the teams must choose between climbing a 35-foot ice wall or searching for a clue in a large lagoon. One team makes a critical mistake by putting regular gas into their diesel car. The last team to arrive at the pit stop is eliminated.

It's on from 9-11pm ET/PT. The regular slot is Tuesdays 9-10pm ET!

The Second leg of the race begins in Iceland where the 10 teams take a plane to Norway. The detour challenge proves to be overly exhausting for one race and one team recieves an unexpected penalty at the pit stop that may affect their outcome. A second team is eliminated.
