Public sighted tornado in Lavaca County, TX

A tornado has been reported in Lavaca County, TX moving northeast at 10 mph. Another tornadic supercell is situated in the south side of Victoria, TX. Both cells are capable of tornadoes as well as large destructive hail. The northern most supercell in Lavaca County just south of I 10 has a sighted tornado at this time.

718 PM CST SAT NOV 20 2004

...A TORNADO WARNING CONTINUES UNTIL 800 PM CST FOR LAVACA COUNTY...

AT 716 PM CST...THE PUBLIC REPORTED A TORNADO. THIS TORNADO WAS
LOCATED OVER LAVACA COUNTY...OR ABOUT 11 MILES SOUTHEAST OF
HALLETTSVILLE...MOVING NORTHEAST AT 10 MPH. LARGE HAIL WAS ALSO
INDICATED IN THIS STORM.

THE TORNADO WILL BE NEAR...
8 MILEES NORTH OF SPEAKS AT 730 PM CST

THE SAFEST PLACE TO BE DURING A TORNADO IS ON THE LOWEST FLOOR OF A
BUILDING IN AN INTERIOR HALLWAY...BATHROOM...OR CLOSET. COVER
YOURSELF WITH BLANKETS...PILLOWS OR EVEN A MATTRESS FOR BETTER
PROTECTION.
