I am having problems opening programs with my mac, and I am just wondering if anyone can help me troubleshoot before I take it to the shop...

Thx!

1st question is have you changed OS since you opened those programs previousluy? If you have then tha t is probably the problem. Otherwise refer back to the answer above mine.

Chunck the IMAC and get a PC. You can do your graphics just as easy on a PC. I never understood why graphic artists use MAC. You can use Quark and Illustrator just as easy on a PC.

I fixed it! I went to the iMac web site and they had a trouble shooting area... I am really happy... I like to know both versions of the graphic programs.. like quark and photoshop... At any rate I got it fixed and I thank you all for your suggestions!!

No, don't get rid of it!!! We love our iMac......if you get into trouble again, I can ask my husband. I'm not computer savvy, but he is. They have Macs at his work too.

Macs RULE!! Once I made the switch to my iBook, I vowed to never go back. I LOVE it! Apple has an award-winning support site, and I'm glad to see that it helped you. It's really easy to use and I think they must have answers for everything. If not, you can always send in a report and get an answer very quickly.
