In Virginia - Don't get too excited about this folks - we might see some snow showers, but there is no 50/50 Low and no negative NAO to keep the storm around. The system will likely be too far east for us and with that next s/w coming, it'll keep on moving, there's nothing to slow it down.
This is probably going to be a NE event, just a few snow showers if that for NC/VA/MD probably even PHL. NE of there is where accumulating snow may happen.
EDIT: Models are indicating the storm will be farther out at sea. Yeah the models have been all over the place with this, I wouldn't get too excited, not even in the northeast. Remember we still have no -NAO or 50/50 Low.
