I think the numbers

#1 Postby aggiecutter » Sat Dec 18, 2004 10:38 pm

in the southern plains east of a Dallas-Ok.City line are going to get beat like a rented mule for 24 hours beginning tomorrow afternoon. Local mets are going with lows in the upper 20's for Texarkana, which is located in extreme NE Texas, on sunday night. Looking at the verocity of the air mass currently entering the northern and central plains, I think the numbers are way underdone. I'm going with a low in the mid-teens Sunday night and a high in the upper 30's for Monday, which is about 20 below what the local mets. are forcasting.

True, the brunt of the cold will be to the east, but the 800lb gorilla will sit where he wants, atleast for 24 hours.
