The cold air is just about a certainty at this point...everything else is up in the air.

The cold air is already somewhat ahead of schedule in its southward trek, compared to what the models have been saying. This will have implications for the upcoming storm on wednesday. The snow-sleet-frz rain line will probably be somewhat farther south than what the models are currently indicating. If I were in Dallas, Austin, or San Antonio, I would keep a close eye on this.

Exactly... cold air has reached as far south as Kansas City per the latest observations as of 9 a.m. It will be interesting to see what the 10:00 obs bring!!!

The 12z ETA now has a large area of light to moderate snow from all of Northern Texas into Arkansas.
