Freeze line as per Intellicast radar as of 912 PM CST:

Where it's snowing and it's actually hitting the ground, the temps are freezing or below.

Unfortunately where I am, I'm just on the edge of the freeze line, I'm sitting at 33 degrees :grr: :cry: and have only seen a few pellets of sleet this AM.

NOLA office thinks things will start as sleet and hten the sleet will bring wet bulb down...you might just get some snow

We are officially at 34 degrees here in Baton Rouge according to the NWS. The Intellicast freezing line is well below us. Not sure correct the freezing line is.

You have my sympathy.

I HATE 33 and rain. The bad part is not only that it's 33, but that I've gotten accumulation before at 37 degrees! It was heavy snow though, but is still accumulated.

Not to mention the dew point is still 22, which means the air's still too dry for anything that falls to stick. :grr:
