Here in Falcon, Colorado the winter has been really mild. We've only had one real snow this year. We dropped below 0 only once (-10F) which has been our coldest day so far this year. Last year we had many days below 0.
The odd thing is, during the summer we had several storms that dropped torrential rains. Many long time residents swore this was going to be a terrible winter as a result. However, we've averaged a dail high of around 50F which is really quite nice for winter.
Anyone else having a less active winter? I wonder if it has to do with the mild El Nino?
