Many are posting NWS AFD's, discussions, forecasts, etc. in the weather forums. We have no problem with this at all. However, we do ask that you make sure that it is identified as being from the NWS or wherever it is from-in other words give credit where credit is due-which most are doing.
Along these same lines we ask that those who post their own forecasts-which EVERYONE is welcome to do, do so in a manner that does not resemble the NWS format. Specifically we ask that when you post a forecast of your own that it be in upper and lower case letters not all caps.

Thank you Mike for bringing this back up.
Another reminder to add to this. ALL FORECASTS that are not a product of an official agency must carry our disclaimer, which is available at the top of this forum. If it is not put on the forecats it will be added for you.
Once again , all are allowed to post their forecasts, but we do have a few rules we like you to follow. Thanks in advance for your cooperation.

Very good point Sandi. Please do make sure that there isn;t already a thread started on the same system/subject before you post yours. It keeps the board cleaner and easier for all to read if everyone does this. Besides that it does make the mods jobs a little bit easier also.
