Ohio Valley Snowfall Next 48 hours
It looks like a 2-4 inch snowfall is likely tonight for parts of Central Indiana and Ohio with 6" amounts as you go farther east. This system will have a few advantages for producing snowfall in the above mentioned areas, but mainly some pretty descent dynamics and very cold temperatures which equal high ratios of close to 30:1. Advisories will probably start flying with the afternoon packages.

Winter Wx Advisory posted for the Cincinnati/Tri-State area. For Sunday 4 a.m. to 4 p.m. 1-3 inches for the Metro area, more to the north.
What's ironic about this advisory posting is one local Met who is overly enthusiastic with forecasts, announced on-air the Storm of the Century would hit Cincinnati, this MLK weekend. It was the talk of the town for a while. A talk show host even featured this early-on forecast, as if to say can you believe it? Callers were giving their opinions about the crazy forecast (it was days ago!). Once temps fell drastically, all local Mets (even the earlier one mentioned) said no snow/precip, just possibly flurries on Sunday.
Then late this afternoon I see all local TV stations have the advisory in place! Whoa! Where did this come from? Don't answer, I know, it's an Alberta Clipper, from Canada.
