#1 Postby tomboudreau » Thu Feb 10, 2005 7:43 pm

Central Middlesex MA-Eastern Hillsborough NH-Eastern Norfolk MA-
Northwest Middlesex MA-Southeast Middlesex MA-Suffolk MA-
Western Norfolk MA-
Including the cities of, Boston, Franklin, Lowell, Manchester,
Pepperell, Quincy, Waltham
708 PM EST Thu Feb 10 2005
Now:
Thunder snow occurring across Bostons western suburbs

At 700 PM National Weather Service doppler radar indicated an intensifying snow band just west of Boston, from Needham to Wellesley, Newton, Weston to Concord. This band of snow was slowly pinwheeling counter clockwise. Lightning detection network and spotter reports confirm thunder snow occurring in this band at 7 PM. Expect moderate to heavy snow at times to continue through 9 PM across the western suburbs of Boston, and extending northward to Westford and Nashua. Travel conditions will become treacherous as the evening progresses with temperatures dropping below freezing.
