Oh no.This is horrible news  I figured the chances of finding them alive were not good since they said they found blood in her house during intial searches. Its probably someone she knew since there was no sign of forced entry into the home

They think he may the father of the child and they do believe they are dead. As much as I hate to say it, if the police think so, the chances are near 100%.

Oh no!! :(

I was praying they'd be found alive. When I heard the father was a person of interest, I hoped he couldn't harm his children. What a SICK, SICK excuse of a human being! :grr:
I will NEVER understand how people can be so evil. This disgusts me!!

FORT WORTH, Texas - Two bodies have been found that could be those of a missing Fort Worth woman and her son, police sources told NBC affiliate KXAS-TV. Police earlier announced that a man had been charged with murder and said they feared Lisa Underwood and her son Jayden had been killed.

The sources said statements from the suspect, identified as Stephen Barbee, had led them to search an area near the Texas Motor Speedway in northern Fort Worth where two bodies were found, KXAS reported.

Father of unborn child?
Police said Tuesday that they had not established a motive, but Fort Worth police Lt. Gene Jones told a news conference that Barbee and Underwood, who is seven months' pregnant, had had a romantic relationship.

“We know that at one time Mr. Barbee and Ms. Underwood were romantically involved. We don’t know what the latest status of that relationship was,” he said.

Jones said police also don't know whether Barbee, 37, was the father of Underwood's unborn child. But friends and family told KXAS that Barbee is the father.

Barbee, of Fort Worth, was arrested Monday night in Tyler. His bail was set at $2 million.

Missed own bridal shower
Underwood was reported missing after failing to attend her own baby shower last Saturday. An Amber Alert used to assist in finding missing children was issued when it was discovered that Jayden had also vanished.

A pool of blood was later found in their home, and the mother's sport utility vehicle was found Monday partly submerged in a creek.

Underwood, 34, is single. Jayden's father lives out of state.

She also is co-owner of a deli with Holly Pils, who said she last spoke with Underwood on Friday night.

“There’s no one I know of that might want to do her harm,” Pils said.

So it wasnt Jayden's father that was arrested. It was another guy who is allegedly the father of the unborn baby.

This is probably the ex-boyfriend of the pregnant woman. Probably another one of those "If I can't have them, no one can!" type of crimes.

Last thing I heard while at home for lunch was that the boyfriend had another girlfriend with whom he didn't want to break up.
