Tornadoes followed by snow?

I would really like to know instances in the past when a particular area was hit by severe thunderstorms with tornadoes followed by wintry precip and cold just a day or few days later. Can anyone here please provide dramatic examples like these? Has there ever been a tornado watch or warning for one place followed by a winter storm watch or warning just a short time later?

Yes... back on December 16, 2000 at about 1pm in the afternoon, an F4 tornado hit Tuscaloosa, Alabama. Killed somewhere around 15-20 people(most on the interstate in vehicles). Temperatures were near 70 that day. 18 hours later at Daybreak the next morning, there was 1-2 inches of snow on the ground across much of the area.

April 21, 1967, our hometown of Belvidere, IL, was struck by an F4 tornado at 3:50 pm that Friday. Temperature was in the mid 60's when the storm hit. 24 persons were killed and more than 450 were injured....mostly school children.

By Sunday afternoon, April 23, 1967, we had 4 inches of wet snow atop all the damage. Temperature had dropped below freezing on Saturday night.

What an eerie sight to see all those homes torn apart and mantled in a blanket of white less than 48 hours later.

I witnessed all of that myself...and have photos as well.

I recall reading a story in the newspaper back January of 1977, 78, or 79 about a storm in Oklahoma. I do not recall if it was a tornado or straight line winds. But I do remember reading that it occurred with temperatures around 40 degrees. And someone in the article mentioned that within a few hours after the storm it was snowing.

Thanks a lot you guys!!!! These accounts are awesome. I can't believe that snow and tornadoes can exist in the same place within a short time. To me, they are like weather opposites with snow for me being the good guy and tornadoes being the evil guy. Sounds stupid, but I've had that distinction since childhood.
