Severe weather in The Lowcountry of South Carolina...again!

#1 Postby Stormsfury » Fri May 16, 2003 7:06 pm

A possible tornado has touched down about 30 miles west of my location near Cottageville, and Walterboro ... right now, it's being reported as wind damage, however, there was one unconfirmed report of a tornado touchdown and at the same time there was a tornado warning issued from the supercell ... over here the cell has a classic looking structure ... with nice outflow from the parent cell and healthy mammatus spiking on the lead anvil edge ... and nice cloud to cloud lightning branching out from the main cell...
