It's CA-one of two states that let OJ walk. MJ will walk, that doesn't mean that he's not guilty, it will just mean that he has his tracks well covered and therefore will be acquitted.

Not guilty(even though IMO he's guilty as sin). I hope they will surprise me like they did with Peterson and throw the book at him. :grr:

what tax dollars wasted? The hospital is a private one, not a state hospital, run by Catholic Healthcare West.

Not sure what you mean by tax dollars wasted....Tax dollars dont pay for Michael Jackson's hospital visits.

The Associated Press
Updated: 2:52 p.m. ET Feb. 25, 2005SANTA MARIA, Calif. - Jurors in Michael Jackson’s child molestation trial will be allowed to hear evidence that the accuser’s mother had made allegations of improper touching against store security guards, a judge ruled Friday.

Attorney Thomas Mesereau Jr. made the allegations during motions on whether evidence could be admitted about the family’s lawsuit against J.C. Penney.

The family claimed in a lawsuit that they were beaten by guards and held against their will and that the mother was groped, after Jackson’s young accuser left the store with clothes that had not been paid for.

Superior Court Judge Rodney S. Melville said he will allow testimony of the mother about the case, especially as it pertains to the her credibility. But he said the defense would not be allowed to refer to the boy as a shoplifter.

Evidence will be heard about mother of accusser.

Based on what I've heard and read (too gross to post here), I'd say they could find him guilty, unless someone comes up with reasonable doubt.

(Disclaimer: I know, I know...I'm not on the jury. So before some lib comes along and accuses me of being judgmental, take a chill pill. I'm not convicting him...yet.)

Hey folks this will be a loooong trial that will be there for months as many witnesses for both sides will testify so dont expect a quick veredict.Although the judge wants to speed things up.

a man or boy who is used to being coddled or pampered; a milksop.

a milksop is an unmanly or effeminate man or youth.

whatever it is, he's it.

I think I'm gonna hate the fact that this will be such a public trial. I mean, it was bad enough when we had to hear some of the testimony (whether true or not) about Clarence Thomas. But at least, they were all adults in the case. This is going to be difficult for the press to report and difficult for us to hear. Has there ever been such a public child molestation case before? Maybe I'm too young to remember or maybe the information superhighway was still just a cowpath at the time, but I think the last time I remember a molestation trial being so heavily reported on the news was the Lisa Steinberg case...and I thankfully don't recall there being many publicized details about that one.
