central penna

usually a storm like this, central penna gets pounded, however not to many are discussing this area. any thoughts for the harrisburg area??? It appears to be the typical March storm for us, just like 93 and 96

you are looking less likely to get very heavy snows, the heavier snows are shifting to the east

I think Harrisburg is too far east to get shafted. In fact, with the recent trends, you don't have to worry much about rain mixing in, and liquid equiv ratios will start to go up. I bet 6 inches for that area.

watertown is a much tougher forecast. I doubt they'll get anything from the coastal low...it will all have to be lake-effect plus upper level dynamics. I don't know much about lake effect forecasting, but 3-6 inches is a possibility.

Last snow way over initial forecasts, the pattern has changed for central PA, I agree with this map for PA area:
