January 25 2000 might be happening again!!

Gotcha!! But the radar does seem to be filling in over west virginia.

John,

A few quick notes:

1) Radar signals can be ambiguous over very short periods of time.

2) One should employ additional info. to corroborate seeming radar tendencies e.g., pressure fall tendencies, even very short-term model guidance.

3) Actual on-the-ground observations.

If there is consistency, then seeming radar trends are likely noteworthy. If not, they could be suspect and later radar data would likely undercut the immediate-term tendencies.
