Starting to look nasty here in Volusia county.. Winds whipping up quite a bit.. I would say they are at about 20

looks like it might decide to get nasty here in awhile too chad! hadn't even noticed. suddenly is getting gray after a beautiful day here! :eek:

...A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING CONTINUES UNTIL 615 PM EDT FOR
NORTHEASTERN VOLUSIA COUNTY...

AT 550 PM EDT...A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WAS REPORTED CAPABLE OF
PRODUCING PENNY SIZE HAIL...AND DAMAGING WINDS IN EXCESS OF 60 MPH.
THIS STORM WAS LOCATED 9 MILES SOUTHWEST OF PORT ORANGE...MOVING
NORTHEAST AT 40 MPH.

THE SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WILL BE NEAR...
SPRUCE CREEK AT 600 PM
PONCE INLET AT 610 PM

THIS IS A DANGEROUS STORM. IF YOU ARE IN ITS PATH...PREPARE
IMMEDIATELY FOR DAMAGING WINDS...DESTRUCTIVE HAIL...AND DEADLY CLOUD
TO GROUND LIGHTNING. PEOPLE OUTSIDE SHOULD MOVE TO A SHELTER...
PREFERABLY INSIDE A STRONG BUILDING BUT AWAY FROM WINDOWS.
SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS CAN OCCASIONALY PRODUCE TORNADOES.

* SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING FOR...
EASTERN VOLUSIA COUNTY IN EAST CENTRAL FLORIDA
THIS INCLUDES THE CITIES OF...SOUTH DAYTONA...PORT ORANGE...PONCE
INLET...OAK HILL...NEW SMYRNA BEACH...MAYTOWN...EDGEWATER...DAYTONA
BEACH

* UNTIL 700 PM EDT

* AT 616 PM EDT...NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED A
