I toured Miss Piggy today....

NOAA flew Miss Piggy into Stennis Airport in beautiful Kiln Mississippi today for the extreme weather show. The crew provided me with a wonderful tour and I'd like to again thank them. Had some interesting conversation with several of the crew members. Took lots of pictures (well my husband did) and will post them when I get a chance. Miss Piggy is off to Houston tomorrow......MGC

I wanted to go to Stennis today but the weather was too bad. I am anxious to see the pics.

Skywatch_NC, Check out these links. The first describes the Orion P3 aircraft that is used with the name "Miss Piggy" (schroll down to see the logo), and the next link is the home page. The hurricane research air craft are based out of McDill AFB, in Tampa, FL.

Glad to know I wasn't alone. When I found out it was about an airplane, I still didn't self correct myself and thought 'how did she torture an airplane?'.

Guess I need sleep also!
